Las Vegas Weekly Calls Mississippians “Hatemongers” Based On Un-Researched Lies

Standard

They covered the Religious Freedom Acts passage because of the MGM and Caesars Entertainment own Casinos in Mississippi.

After talking about the Arizona “turn away the gays” bill, they directed their attention toward MS to compare the Religious Freedom Bill Act to the legislation there saying:

a nearly identical measure flew through the legislature in Mississippi and was happily signed by Gov. Phil Bryant on April 3. In a state where gay people still have virtually no protections anyway, SB2681 makes it super-double-with-a-cherry-on-top okay to tell a gay couple to f*ck off.

They continue to throw around derogatory comments about Mississippians by saying:

Mississippi is not Arizona. There are precious few massive national companies with significant presences there. Lawmakers in Jackson don’t live in fear of being humiliated as bigots on cable news; theirs is a shameless, almost quaint, homophobia.

It has already been established that the bill has nothing to do with gay people and private business, but those on the left continue to push their version of hate on others and accuse them of the same.   There is no language in the bill that says that and I encourage the you to read the bill and all the definitions for yourself here.

They could not understand why those Casinos that have stood up for LGBT rights in the past did not speak up.
That would be because it doesn’t do any of the things these people have fabricated it do.

Where were they, then, when Mississippi was pulling a move that Arizona got scathed for only a month earlier? Silent. And where were they when I reached out repeatedly to find out why they didn’t do anything to oppose the Mississippi law? Silent yet again.

It is their obligation there for the same reason it was their obligation in Nevada, because they are the biggest fish with the most economic clout, and that’s the only thing that persuades hatemongers not to legislate their hate.

You can read the whole article here if you would like, but it just goes to show how some people are willing to jump on a complete lie in order to bring “sensationalism” to Journalism.

Danny Bedwell (Congressional Liberty Candidate) quote on the F.A.I.R. Pledge

Standard

After MS Senator and US Senate Candidate became the first to sign the F.A.I.R. Pledge, I wanted to get a more well rounded view on the issue from more than one perspective.

Here is what Congressional Candidate Danny Bedwell had to say about the F.A.I.R. Pledge and his opinion on immigration.

Image

I will not sign the F.A.I.R pledge as it wont really accomplish anything, and it’s really just a political ploy to energize the base (the Republican base). It’s red meat for them, but will not amount to any significant changes in policy.

Immigration should be as painless and as efficient as possible. People should be able to cross the border and become an American as quick as possible. I think if someone wants to come here and try to better their condition, we should not get in their way.

One of the things were going to have to do, is stop the welfare from the State. If we do this, the immigrants that are just coming here to get on the dole, will stop coming here. Get rid of all of the Government perks for “being a citizen”, and then loosen out immigration laws. Once we stop the welfare (for everyone), the only immigrants coming here, will be the ones looking to make a better life for themselves and their families. I have no problem with immigrants coming here looking to better their condition, but I have serious problems with immigrants (and Americans)coming here to get on the public dole.

As far as coming here “legally”……my ancestors came to this land in 1659. They came here against the wishes of the ruling authority. They sneaked in. Had the King of England known that my 8th gr-grandfather was coming here, he would have hung him for sure. This is one reason that I have never been fond of the ruling authority (the Government) deciding who can enter the country, and who cant.

We have a court system in this country. This court system applies to all people, regardless of nationality. If one person commits burglary, rape, murder, extortion, theft, etc…..then they should be prosecuted and thrown in the hoosegow, regardless of nationality.

If we can get a handle on the welfare system, and get a handle on our system of jurisprudence, then there would be no reason at all to inhibit immigration. Protection of jobs is not sufficient warrant. In fact, I would argue that this protectionism in the labor force, contributes to jobs going overseas. If we want to be competitive in world markets, then we need to be competitive in the labor market (as well as the natural resources market)

Bottom line,….stop all forms of welfare,…..make immigration easier, to where only the hard working immigrants looking to better their condition are coming…..and become competitive again in foreign markets.

Bedwell is a Libertarian Party candidate and is runny against the incumbent Allen Nunnelee. Allen’s Voting Record indicates he votes are inconsistent and a Libertarian serve the Liberties of the American people much better.

Senate Considering Legislation to Shift War Power to 20 person Legislative Committe

Standard

I made a mini documentary that shows John McCain present the legislation and reveals the motives behind the bill.

The Ron Paul Institute For Peace And Prosperity has an article out to bring awareness to this issue as well.

The Senate is considering legislation to shift the war power largely to the president and a 20-person legislative committee. The result would undermine the constitutional role of 515 other members of Congress and the duty they have to represent the interests of their constituents.

The stated purpose of S. 1939, introduced by Sens. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Angus King (I-Maine), is to repeal the War Powers Resolution of 1973 and create a procedure that allows for rapid responses to emerging threats. The bill would make matters worse by strengthening the president at the expense of Congress and representative government.

Despite the claim of S. 1939 that it is “not meant to define, circumscribe, or enhance the constitutional war powers of either the executive or legislative branch of government,” without question it substantially enhances presidential power.

MS Senator Chris McDaniel Calls Sour Immigration “Crony Capitalism”! Pledges to oppose it.

Standard

Mississippi State Senator Chris McDaniel is now the first to sign the F.A.I.R. (Federation for American Immigration Reform) Pledge.

F.A.I.R. is for “True” immigration reform. This includes:

No Amnesty, Secure Boarders, End Visa Overstays, Stopping The Hiring Of Non Legal Workers, Enforcement Of Current Laws, Implement A Merritt Based Immigration Selection Process,  End Family Chain Migration, Limit Overall Immigration Numbers, and Support The American Worker.

Brietbart.com quoted McDaniel saying:

“What we’ve seen over the past several years is a combination of wage stagnation, growth in welfare programs and even shrinking workforce participation. That comes in large part because of out of control illegal immigration but also because of increased numbers of legal immigration,” McDaniel said. “We have millions of Americans who don’t have a job, plus we have millions who are on public benefits,” he said. “How about we find a way to put those people back to work?”

“It is a form of crony capitalism, and Haley Barbour is dead wrong about this—and by extension Sen. Cochran is dead wrong about this,” McDaniel said. “That’s why you see a number of those individuals [both leftwing and rightwing special interests] who normally don’t share much in common reaching across the aisle and compromising on this issue. But this issue is not subject to compromise. This is one of those issues where we must draw a line in the sand and be strong and courageous,” he added.

Shocking information revealed about Glenn Beck and his CFR and CIA ties!!!!

Standard

I encourage you to verify everything for yourself.

Glenn Beck and Company: CIA, CFR and Establishment Media Insiders

Beck’s coterie is indisputably linked not only to the establishment media and its endless diversionary game of false left-right politics, but also the intelligence community. If this does not reveal the true nature of Beck’s operation, nothing does.

Buck Sexton. A Blazetv host, Sexton is Beck’s direct link to the CIA and the CFR. His LinkedIn profile states he worked for the agency from 2005 until 2010. He also spent time with the Council on Foreign Relations, the premier globalist organization operating as the shadow government, a factrevealed by Hillary Clinton.

Betsy Morgan. According to LinkedIn, she is the president of The Blaze and has a background serving the corporate media, from CEO of AOL’s Huffington Post to Senior Vice President of CBS Interactive. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School.

S. E. Cupp. She is one The Blaze’s program hosts.  She has an extensive background in establishment media circles, including The New York Times, MSNBC (where she was a talk show co-host), CNN, Fox News, and The New York Daily News. Describing herself as a “mainstream [establishment] conservative,” Cupp has criticized Ron Paul’s foreign policy views and his views on the Federal Reserve.

Laurie Dhue. She hosts The Blaze’s For the Record and is the channel’s primary news anchor. She also sports a background in establishment media. Dhue was a Fox News anchor and worked at MSNBC, a fact demonstrating how effortless the crossover is between so-called conservative and liberal circles in the establishment.

Dana Loesch. Another The Blaze media host demonstrating the linkage between corporate and faux alternative media. Loesch has appeared as a political commentator on Fox News, CNN, CBS, ABC and HBO. She left the St. Louis Tea Party after a failed attempt to get the organization to back an establishment candidate during a congressional race. In December, 2012 she sued Breitbart.com, claiming she endured a hostile work environment.

Considering the pedigree of Beck’s circle, it is obvious he is not a libertarian and he does not believe in the primacy of the Constitution. It is accurate to say Beck is working in concert with the government to sabotage patriotic Americans who believe the Bundy standoff and the armed and menacing reaction by the federal government represent a mortal danger. It is one worth drawing a line in the sand in response as Beck’s former colleague at Fox News, Andrew P. Napolitano, rightly said.
